The issues of recruitment, retention, funding, negative exposure, changing working conditions, calls for reform, and new legislation have had a significant and detrimental impact on many of these agencies, their officers, and the citizens they protect and serve. LOAC is laser-focused on providing services that examine and improve these issues and broadly benefit communities and citizens by providing a variety of targeted assessments, services, training, and support.

Too many citizens feel they are aggressively policed, sometimes abused, and justified in fearing the officers and the system they are supposed to respect and trust. LOAC has your best interest at heart!
